Yung Kafa & Kücük Efendi – Social Media Campaign
Feb 17, 2023
YKKE needed a social rollout that didn't look like every other campaign clogging the feed. The directive was simple: stop the scroll, rack up views, and make each drop feel distinct.
I built a series of reels around the custom robe-and-veil pieces I'd designed for the artists. Garments that became the visual anchor across all content. From there, the creative split into multiple directions. Some reels pulled from German hip-hop subculture, embedding references that would resonate with the core audience. Others borrowed meme logic: quick cuts, absurdist humor, the kind of visual grammar that makes people share without thinking.
A few assets went the opposite route, no joke, no wink. Just hypnotic loops built on repetition and visual rhythm. These were designed to hold viewers past the three-second mark through pure formal grip, not narrative.
Custom sound design threaded through the entire series, giving each reel its own sonic fingerprint while maintaining cohesion across the campaign. The variety wasn't random—it was structural. Each piece occupied a different zone of the feed, so the account never felt monotonous, but the branding stayed locked.
